Johnny Superglu’s second release on Plynt, Rambo Village is his darkest work to date, a mysterious, ethereal and hypnotic urban safari infused with the post-industrial spirit of his hometown of Charleroi, a scarred, broken landscape of crumbling steelworks and decaying iron mills.
Pressing a disparate variety of antique, analogue audio equipment into service, it’s a piece of low-fi knob-twiddling shot through with the spirit of Chicago’s House hey-day and iconic acid house with an instant dance floor feel.
Enter a moist world of dancing red-masked devils, driven by a hypnotic & mysterious flow that will freeze your blood.
